The circuit de Spa Francorchamps was born in 1921, among a forest and farm environment.
It was made of public roads linked by a circuit, which at the time was not permanent. Nevertheless, it is not only its charm which places it at the top of the racing drivers' hit parade.

This track has hosted the fiercest battles in any motor racing discipline. The 1000km are probably one of the few choice episodes. When driving along the Eau Rouge, the Raidillon, Pouhon, Blanchimont, …the C.E.R. cars will meet the Ardennes region circuit history to find their roots. Indeed the 1000KM were born in 1966, taking over the 500 KM of Spa.
